Emily has authorization to perform Remote Online Notarizations for general notarizations throughout the U.S.A.
What is R-O-N?
We are all familiar with remote video meetings through platforms such as Zoom. The need to provide notarization services through a remote platform became evident in recent years. Most states have now passed legislation allowing remote online notarization for most documents. A Notary Public needs to be approved by their commissioned state to perform RON. There are various platforms used by notary’s which are in compliance with state law.
Simply request an appointment with an authorized Notary (See Form Below). You will receive a link to your email inviting you to your notarization. Follow the instructions to upload your documents and confirm your identity. When prompted, a live notarization session will begin. This is an audio/visual session, which is recorded. Within minutes you will have your notarized document!
*Prior to scheduling your appointment, confirm with the party requesting the notarization that a RON will be accepted. There may be some documents which still require ‘wet signatures’.
